In 2005 EFC was awarded a five year - $10,000,000 contract to supply the TSA with checkpoint glass security partitions for all 450 airports around the country. The TSA uses our glass partitions for a variety of reasons in their checkpoints. Mainly, the partitions are used to create glass wanding stations or chutes, which separate passengers requiring secondary screening from the general population on the sterile side of the checkpoint. These partitions are utilized for physical separation as well as for preventing potential handoffs of prohibited items to other passengers.

Our glass partitions are custom designed and engineered by our manufacturing partner KI, an industry-leading, award-winning furniture manufacturer out of Green Bay, Wisconsin. These custom glass panels were derived from their existing Genius Architectural Wall Product.

This product has been proven to be major security benefit and necessity for passenger screening. Cruise lines and border protection agencies are now utilizing our glass partitions in ports and border crossings around the country.
